The most valuable lesson I learned from Tayla was how to calorie cycle. This approach allowed me to eat more on certain days—like when dining out or celebrating holidays—while cutting back on regular days. It gave me the freedom to fully enjoy special occasions without feeling restricted or out of place. I never felt deprived, never had to follow a separate diet around others, and still managed to lose weight. This lesson will stay with me for life because it reinforces that no foods are off-limits—just balanced.
And I have the motivation and belief now that I can push myself even more to reach the physique I have always wanted to have. I wasn't perfect and had weeks where I didn't track as well as others, but I didn't let the pedulum swing too far and it always felt great to get back into my good habits. I also accomplished this while nursing! It's amazing what our bodies can do. I really feel like it's a mind game first and working with Tayla in this group helped me overcome my previous beliefs that my body couldn't go past a certain point.
